PNW Tree & Excavation is a locally owned and operated company proudly serving Curry County and the surrounding communities. The company is owned and operated by Ryan Botnen, a Brookings, Oregon native with deep roots in the area and a strong commitment to serving the community he grew up in.
Ryan has spent more than a decade working in and around industries connected to the land and the outdoors. His background includes working for the U.S. Forest Service, ranch work, and attending lineman school, experiences that built a strong foundation in safety, hard work, and operating in demanding environments. During his time at VOLTA Academy, Ryan discovered a passion for climbing and advanced tree work, which led him to pursue a career in professional tree services.
Today, Ryan brings that experience into a full-service operation that includes tree removal, land clearing, excavation, driveway work, drainage solutions, and site preparation for new builds. His understanding of the local terrain and forestry environment allows him to approach each project with the right equipment, careful planning, and attention to detail.
Ryan is supported by a skilled and dependable team that includes an experienced climber, excavation operator, and knowledgeable ground crew. Together, they work efficiently and safely to complete projects of all sizes while maintaining a strong focus on professionalism and quality workmanship.
